In 2003, Jeffrey Shaull was named director of the Spring Garden Band. He had previously joined the band's horn section in 1992 and was appointed principal of the section in 1997.  Jeff is also a member of the York Symphony Orchestra.

Jeff's musical education began at Red Lion High School where he studied under the guidance of John Gouker, a former director of the Spring Garden Band.  Jeff earned a B.S. in music education and an M.M. in horn performance from West Chester University.

Jeff is also an accomplished church organist.  He has received training from renowned concert organist and recording artist Dr. Gordon Turk and is a member of both the Organ Historical Society and The Friends of the Wanamaker Organ.  Jeff also enjoys arranging orchestral music for concert band and young orchestras.  His arrangements have been performed by various ensembles including his student ensembles, the Spring Garden Band, and the Chester County Concert Band.

Jeff is a fan of the Philadelphia Phillies and the Philadelphia Orchestra, having held season tickets for both.  Jeff currently resides in West Chester, PA.
